T.R.A.S.A.R. serves, but is not limited to the counties of Marion, Monongalia, Harrison, Preston, Taylor, and Barbour in the state of West Virginia. Based in Fairmont, Marion County, this group is made up of mounted (horseback) searchers, walkers, search dogs and their handlers, scuba divers, emt's, paramedics, law enforcement officers, and firemen, all continually training in every aspect of search and rescue.
